Owner, Giovanni Gabriele, was invited to the White House to cook for President Reagan’s inauguration in 1981. Giovanni cooked his famous dish farfalline for thousands of dignitaries and guests. Today, 30 years later, Farfalline del Presidente Reagan remains the most popular item on the restaurant’s menu, and their patrons love it.
Frank Gabriele, Giovanni's son and Executive Chef, now rules the kitchen at Giovanni's On The Hill. But you can be sure his father is always standing close by, helping out in the kitchen, or greeting patrons as they dine.
